Zafar Hasan Bio
Zafar Hasan is a lawyer living in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. He has been practicing law for over 25 years and over 20 of these years have been in Central Virginia.
Zafar Hasan graduated with a degree in Political Science and Religion from the University of Richmond with Honors. He came to the University after completing his high school education in Maryland. While at the University of Richmond, he followed the basketball team and really came to love American basketball. He spent his summers working in a research lab at the University and developed a love for biology and immunology. After completing his undergraduate degree, he considered whether to pursue medicine or or law school but ultimately decided to pursue a career in the law. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia where he a member of several honor societies. He also worked in the Elder law clinic at the University of Virginia law school. After finishing law school, Zafar Hasan worked at a prestigious law firm for several years before returning to Richmond to start his own practice.
Zafar Hasan and his wife of over 25 years are the proud parents of two adult daughters. When they were young, he acted as a coach in soccer. As they have grown up now, he and his wife spend their spare time volunteering for nonprofit organizations such as the United Way and Helping Hands.
